The Grounds
Passing through the gateway to the rear garden you come into the most delightful part of the property. Recently up-dated it is like a ‘secret’ garden with a swimming pool set in a ‘tapering’ meadow which has delightfully shaded areas. It is a perfect setting to while away those warm summer days. The pool, which is very private and looks across pasture land and is 11m by 5m with the depth ranging from 1m to 2.5m. There is a newly extended loggia providing shade to dine outside with an electrical point where you can keep a fridge for instant access to the cold beers etc. A selection of pool toys, loungers, table and chairs and kids play area are provided too for your enjoyment.
This pretty stone built country house on the edge of a small hamlet has the most superb pool and garden area and is perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. It is extremely well equipped and is within easy driving distance of Najac and St Antonin Noble Val (used as the location for films ‘Charlotte Grey ‘ and ‘The Hundred Foot Journey’ ) are around 30 minutes, both of which are magnificent medieval towns retaining all their wonderful architecture and charm and remain unspoilt by the passage of time. Villefranche is reached in 20 minutes and, as well as the popular Thursday market, provides all your needs for in-house catering. Surrounded by countryside, this is a delightful place to spend a quiet simple holiday. It is a paradise for nature lovers, walkers and those who prefer to simply relax by the pool. On the edge of a small hamlet and with beautiful Angora goats as discreet neighbours, you can enjoy the true rural French scene.
