Les Granges
A secluded Farmhouse, Les Granges is a perfect place to get away from it all and relax with plenty of outdoor seating and exclusive use of the private heated pool.
Perfect for 2 or 3 families to get together. Riberac, famous for its Friday market and the amenities it offers is just a 10 minute drive away. The Lake of La Jemaye with its beach and water sports and the pretty village of Aubeterre are within easy reach.

Les Granges is a home that has been much loved over the years, situated in the beautiful village of Siorac-de-Riberac. The house is a haven of tranquility, truly a ‘get away from it all’ place to stay, except there is access to wi-fi and a decent ‘phone signal! The private heated swimming pool is the perfect spot to soak up the sun, although there are plenty of trees in the 3.8 hectares of land surrounding the property. Relax in one of the hammocks in the heat of the day, or star gaze at night. Meal times are very much an outside experience under the shade of the gazebo, perfect for breakfast or watching the sun go down with a chilled aperitif. For those of a competitive nature there is a table tennis table, a table football game and even a boules pitch. This is our home when we are in France, so has everything you would need.
There is plenty to do in the area. From Canoeing and Kayaking on the rivers, enjoying the Lake beaches or visiting the Chateaux of the region, including Bordeilles and the Abbey at Brantôme. Saint Emilion and its wine tasting opportunities is just over an hour away. Périgiuex, a pedestrian town with its Cathedral and boutique shops is a great place to spend the day. Le Lavoir is our local restaurant and can be walked to, and Saint Astier is just 25 minutes away with a wonderful Michelin starred restaurant.
Padel and Tennis courts are accessible in the town of Riberac, and there are plenty of country walks and mountain bike tracks departing from the house with bikes available for use at the property. The lake beach of La Jemaye is just over ten minutes away by car or try the river beach at Aubeterre, with its pretty square and monolithic Church, a lovely place for a coffee or lunch as you watch the world go by. Siorac itself has a fantastic restaurant and there is nothing more that says ‘French holiday’ than walking up to the Le Lavoir for dinner as the sun goes down, and heading back to Les Granges under the stars.
