The owners live on site in an adjacent house and the grounds extend to approximately 18 acres of gardens, trees and lakes with far reaching views. A swimming pool is shared with another gite on site and there is also a heated jacuzzi.

Area Description:
This is an ideal location from which to explore the region’s market towns and villages. Nontron, Piegut, St Jean de Cole and Brantome are all a short drive away. A local supermarket is a 10 minute drive away. The nearby village of St Saud la Cousiere has restaurants, shops, boulanger and a large recreational lake with man-made beach, swimming, paddle boarding and playground facilities for children. A restaurant is open in the summer months.
The whole area offers opportunities for walking, fishing, canoeing and for exploring pre-historic caves and ancient churches.
