Le Prunier
A beautiful, tranquil property located 25km south of the Dordogne River amid gently rolling hills, orchards and vineyards.
The cottage is situated within the grounds of Les Mouries Grange and has its own private garden with far reaching views and secure parking. There is a large patio area with barbeque, outdoor furniture and sun umbrella. There are several games provided including an ‘Open Goal’ frame and net, Badminton net with raquets etc. An ‘under cover’ table tennis table is also available for your use.There is a large gated swimming pool, heated and equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas.
The cottage comprises of:
- Kitchen – modern and fully equipped with adequate seating to accommodate all guests.
- Sitting Room – fully furnished for a ‘night in’ with English Freesat television.
- Main Bathroom – is equipped with bath/shower, WC and basin.
- Bedroom 1 (Air conditioned) – furnished with a king size bed and has an ensuite shower, WC and basin.
- Bedroom 2 (Air conditioned)– can be configured to requirements, up to 3 single beds or 1 ‘king’ and 1 ‘single’.
The property also has wi-fi connection.
Le Prunier, located on the edge of the Lalandusse village and is within easy reach of many Bastide towns and fortifications with Castillonnes, Eymet, Issigeac, Lauzun, Monpazier, Monflanquin and Villereal amongst them
Most mornings a colourful market can be found in one or other of the local towns and summer night markets are plentiful. Castillonnes, Eymet and Bergerac have good Tourist Information Offices. There are many good local restaurants in the area (incl. La Luticia in the village) and musical entertainment is plentiful during the main tourist season.
There are several golf courses in the area, local stables and tennis courts available, Canoeing on the Dordogne, Dropt, Lot and Vezere rivers. Wine tasting at most (if not all) vineyards and many vineyard tours available. Many towns will be visited by a travelling Medieval Festival throughout late July and August.
