Gite Raphael – 2 bedrooms – Sleeps 4 +1.

This is the more contemporary of our self catering Brittany cottages. Entry is via patio doors into

• A large open-plan lounge dining and kitchen area. This is very spacious and comfortable with a corner leather sofa unit and includes a handmade staircase using re-cycled oak beams, chrome rails against the stone granite walls and tiled floor.Like our other French holiday cottages there is a high quality wood burning stove. The spacious open plan kitchen area is fitted with a complete range of equipment including gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine, including home from home utensils for cooking and preparing the local produce.
• Two Large Bedrooms. On the second floor of this Brittany gite there are two large bedrooms with wonderful stone walls, exposed original oak beams and varnished wooden floors.
  Bedroom 1 : has two single beds (these can be converted into a kingsize bed). It has an en-suite bathroom with basin, toilet and full size bath with shower. This bedroom has a wonderful view over the garden with sun streaming in during the morning. You can see our neighbour’s horses quietly grazing in the distance whilst lying in bed.
  Bedroom 2 : has a full size double bed and is quiet and relaxing, with a large integral wardrobe. Like bedroom 1 it has an en-suite bathroom with basin, toilet and a full size bath with shower.

Gite Michel – 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms + WC. Entry, via front door, is into a large light hallway with a tiled floor leading to

• The Kitchen / Dining room, with oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, and a microwave. It is very well equipped for entertaining large numbers of guests with seating for up to 16 if required and features a wood-burning stove in a granite and oak fireplace. The granite walls in this French gite have been exposed after being hidden under cement for half a century (hard work!) and restored to their former glory. It boasts a bespoke wooden kitchen with porcelain handles. We have spent many happy hours with family and friends in this kitchen.
• Lounge with a satellite TV (English programs)/DVD/Radio etc. This large, light and comfortable room has granite stone walls, exposed wood beams and a tiled floor. Its characteristic old oak and granite fireplace has a wood burning stove. The three leather sofas and chintzy cushions are ready for you to sink into and the rug on the floor is great when children wish to play with the wooden train set. A separate lounge is preferred by many guests so teenagers can do their own thing whilst the adults can do theirs either in the dining room or on patio area. Open plan wooden stairs (find the hidden Buddha) take you to the upper floor.

• The master bedroom with ensuite. This is a large light bedroom and has a spectacular open beamed high ceiling clearly showing the artisans skills of old. The spacious ensuite consists of wc basin and shower cubicle. Two walls are of granite stonework. The window faces the garden and you can lie in bed watching the countryside and the neighbours horses in the distance.
• Double bedroom with ensuite. Again this large, light and airy bedroom boasts a granite wall, large velux window and high ceiling. Its large ensuite has wc, basin and shower cubicle.
• Family bathroom : This large room has wc, basin, bidet and bath with shower. We provide plenty of bathmats to protect the wooden floors- we expect children to splash! All the upper rooms of this superb Brittany gite have wooden varnished floors.
• Third Bedroom : This has two single beds one of which is bunkable.
