The Courtyard House is located on Domaine des Anges which makes prize winning wines in the heart of Provence
This property is situated on a vineyard just outside the village of Mormoiron. There are many villages nearby all with markets, big and small and many restaurants to choose from. This house is on the south facing side of a large, quiet and pleasant courtyard planted with roses and shrubs, formed by the other houses of the vineyard.
Ground Floor

Outside
- This is a comfortable farmhouse which has its own private shady garden with wonderful views and barbecue facilities.
- The swimming pool (16m x 6m) is in its own gardens on the property which is privately owned. Visitors have the use of this on the firm understanding that swimming times will be respected:- in the morning up until 12.30pm and in the aftemoom between 2.00pm and 6.00pm. It is strictly for the use of guests staying on the property.
The nearest town is Carpentras and the nearest city is Avignon. The historic towns of Orange, Nimes, Arles and Aix en Provence are within a day’s outing. The coast is 2 hours away by motorway.
Domaine des Anges is an independently owned vineyard making prize winning wines in the heart of Provence. 30 minutes drive to the east of <Avignon, it lies in the foothills of Mont Ventoux – at 6000ft. the highest mountain in the region – and on the edge of the Alps dividing France from Switzerland and Italy.
Carpentras is the nearest main town, 15 minutes away, with the villages of Mormoiron, Bedoin and Mazan all within a few kilometres. The Domaine makes an ideal and peaceful base from which to tour Provence and the vineyards of the Rhone valley, down to the Mediterranean coast.
Domaine des Anges covers 100 acres of vineyard, cherry orchards and private woodland. Situated on a hill at 350 metres it enjoys cooling breezes in the heat of summer and majestic views throughout the year.
The balance may be paid on arrival. Deposit is payable at the time of booking by sterling cheque, banker’s cheque in euros, or a french cheque in euros. The booking cannot be confirmed until the deposit is received. Deposits cannot usually be refunded – we therefore recommend cancellation insurance. Balance may be payable in euros on arrival – in cash or by traveller’s cheques.
